Disk go spin
How to play:
Your goal is to kill all the enemies located on the disk, in order to allow it to spin again. Then, a data recovery will be performed. Red monsters follow you around and give some damage. Slimes only attack you when you are close. Survive as long as you can!
There are two tools in the game, the brush and the spudger. The brush is most effective against the red monsters and the spudger should be used against slimes.
Controls:
Use Enter to dismiss dialogs
Move using arrow keys
Dash to attack enemies by pressing X
Rotate the disk using Z (use this to confuse your enemies!)
Switch tools by pressing C (once unlocked)
Press V to heal (once unlocked)
Notes
I made all the pixel art myself. I think you can probably tell, because it's not very good. I tried my best.
I wrote all of the code myself, except for a few help (for math things) where I've used a little help online. Those only make up a few lines of code in total. If you want to read it, you can, just know that it's not the prettiest code ever written.
I have written the "physics engine" by myself during the game jam as well, which is why its a little buggy, but I think it's not too bad.
This is my first ever game that I think I could call a game and the first time I've published one. What I mean by that is that I have made games before, but i didn't think they were complex enough to be considered a game, like missing a goal.
